Adam Alright, so I’ve never done a biography. An auto-biography no doubt. Well, here goes. I’m 20 years old, living in Melbourne, Australia as a full time student.

I’ve been into computers for probably 10 years now, maybe even a little more. I was using DOS and X-Tree gold when I was probably 7 or 8 years old, or something. Moved slowly up the ladder fiddling with new operating systems like windows 3.1. My programming career probably started when I was around 11 years old, if programming is what you can call it. I first dabbled in HTML, writing bad web pages for games that I enjoyed. At this point I took a brief foray into QBASIC, before quickly turning away and going back to web design and creation.

It wasn’t until 2003 or 2004 that I got back into actual programming. I wasn’t completely into the concept as a programmer yet, however, but a lot of time was spent using the Sphere RPG engine, which uses the javascript syntax. I used this program for many, many years. From there, as of only several years ago, I’ve jumped from many languages, including and not limited to: Python, HTML, CSS, C#, C++, C, Javascript, PHP, SQL and ASP.Net.

I’m currently doing a software development course at Deakin University in Australia, covering both web and software programming (for some reason. But I enjoy it), and in my own time I develop games, applications and hopefully in the near future, video tutorials for C# and XNA.

Outside computers, I’m an artist by trade - although that path is seemingly being dissipated as I go down the programmer path. My artwork can be reached at deviant art, but prepared to meet out-dated images (but still eye-catching, I assure you.) I like to go boxing, and I love to read and write.
