Looking nice so far. :) Do you have some sort of estimated date for a runable build of it, tho?

Are you making an gm8 decompiler?

OT:
It probably doesn't matter if your program supports cross platform operative systems for the most of your typical visitors, as long as you can use vista.

In the original decompiler post GearGOD mentioned that documentation about the encryption could be found on the net. However I couldn't find what I am looking for.

I want to know how the gmd is stored inside the (gm5.3a compiled) executable. I am aware how the encryption scheme works, but I don't know how to obtain the decryption key (somewhere between 0x16a600 and 0x16e385?) or how to calculate the s-box (substitution table), that is needed to decrypt the gmd.

I would be thankful for any hints.

@Aybabtus:
Our (fairly obvious) goal is to make Aziel as simple to use as possible for as many people as possible. Making them jump through hoops on both linux and windows just to get it running is a bad idea. I'd rather have well supported windows and poor to none support on linux/mac, than poor support on all.

If windows starts losing its market share or OpenGL picks up, I'll be happy to port the graphics system to support it.
